Parent Newsletter December 10, 2020 Semester 2 Learning Model Selection We need your help to continue our planning for semester 2, which starts on February 1, 2021. Our hope is to get students back into our schools as soon as we can when the situation with the virus improves. Please fill out the Second Semester Learning Model Change Request Form only if you want to switch your child's learning model selection. If you want to retain your learning model selection from the beginning of the year, no further action is required. Fridays:
Did You Know? Gifts for Seniors For the past 10 years, Kimberly Lane has proudly supported the "Gifts for Seniors" program and we are thrilled to continue this worthy tradition. Gifts for Seniors supports isolated and forgotten senior citizens in the communities of Minnesota.
Currently faced with a health crisis that disproportionately affects older adults, Gifts for Seniors has launched new initiatives to respond to and support the ever-changing needs. This year Kimberly Lane will be doing contactless/shop/ship.

Attendance Reminder If your child will late or absent from Distance or Hybrid learning, you will need to enter that into Skyward Family Access for it to be considered an "excused absence." Any unrecorded absences will be considered "unexcused." Once you enter it into Skyward, both teacher and office staff can see it. Please feel free to call if you have any questions at 763-745-5602.
Reminders Study Hall with Mr. Worth If you are wanting/needing additional support for your child, Mr. Worth will be hosting optional grade level Zoom study halls to help support students as they transition into distance learning. This time can be used for homework completion or to receive additional academic support.

Media News Read every day! In addition to ebooks, physical library books may still be borrowed. K-1 students request through Seesaw. Second-fifth graders browse the library catalog and place books on hold. Contactless book pick up available in the main entry each school day 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. Eager to serve you!
