Dear Students and Parents/Guardians:


This is a reminder about our final day of Back-to-Business scheduled for tomorrow (Thursday, August 20). Please stop by the WHS auditorium entrance if you have textbooks and/or curriculum items to return from last spring.  Sophomores (Class of 2023) and "New to Wayzata High School" students please drive around the athletics entrance to the bus parking area for our iPad drive-thru distribution.

Textbook / Curriculum Returns - Curbside, Auditorium Entrance

Students with textbooks, curriculum, and library/media center books are encouraged to return items curbside at the Auditorium/Upper Commons (Door 5) entrance Thursday, August 20, from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

iPad Turn-In and Distribution - Curbside, Rear Bus Parking Lot

Applies to our Class of 2023 and "New To Wayzata" students only

iPad turn-in and distribution will occur outside of the WHS gyms, in the rear bus corral parking area behind school. Families should enter the WHS parking lots via Peony/Schmidt Lake Road or Trojan Trail and proceed around the athletics entrance to the back of the building. Please do not enter the activities/athletics entrance. All sophomores are asked to arrive at a scheduled time based on each student's last name, as follows:

Thursday, August 20

8:00-10:00 … Last names A-LAQ

10:00-12:00 … Last names LAR-Z

12:00-4:00 … All Sophomores and "New-to-Wayzata" students welcome

Steps to follow prior to iPad Pick-Up & Distribution:

  1. Pay for lost or damaged equipment through EPay and bring receipt of payment.
  2. Backup iPad Files:
    • Notability Backup Directions
    • Camera Roll/Photos Backup Directions
    • iMovie Backup Directions
  3. Wipe iPad (required). Instructions:
    • Go to Settings -> General -> Reset -> Erase All Content & Settings
    • Key in needed passwords to log out of all accounts
    • iPad should have a white screen with the words Hello in different languages
  4. Battery Must be Charged:
    • Plug your iPad in and have a minimum of 50% of your battery charged before drop off.
  5. Bring the iPad in the case along with the Apple charger and Apple iPad charging cable.

Schedule Change Requests - Summer Schedule Change Request Form

Schedule change request appointments are fully booked. Please visit the Wayzata High School Registration Website to access our Registration Guide/Course Catalog, Elective Course Schedule, and Summer Schedule Change Request Form. Summer Schedule Change requests will be handled by members of our Student Support Teams; students will receive follow-up once their request has been reviewed.

Health Services

Please visit the Health Services webpage for more information. Medications can be dropped off in the Health Office during the first week of school.

Parking Permits

Parking permits will not be required while we are in a hybrid or distance learning schedule.
