Distance learning will be back up and running on Tuesday, May 5. We miss you and are very appreciative of your support during these challenging times.
Did You Know? May 4-8 is Teacher Appreciation Week The National PTA has designated the first week of May as Teacher Appreciation Week! What a wonderful way to show our admiration and gratitude to those that teach our children every day! Gleason Lake is fortunate to have such a terrific group of teachers. Each teacher has worked so hard to provide a consistent and caring environment for all of the children in our school. To show them our appreciation for all that they do, please take a moment to write an email to your teacher. They will love it!
Free Webinar Resource COVID-19 is impacting our lives in unprecedented ways and, while we as adults struggle to navigate these times, our children are looking to us for guidance and reassurance. However, we often find ourselves unsure of how to best support them. In this free webinar, Anne Gearity, PhD, clinical social worker, shares practical words and perspectives for families when trying to navigate the challenges of our current crisis.

Whether they’ve helped make a difference in person or virtually this year, show your appreciation by participating in our Thank a Teacher program. From May 4 to June 3, any donation you make to the Wayzata Education Fund honoring a teacher or staff will come with a certificate of appreciation from your student. Additionally, if you donate $25 or more, they will also receive a bundlet from Nothing Bundt Cakes Minnetonka. Say thank you and support a good cause at the same time!
