A Message from Mr. Fredrickson Dear Families,
"There are three ways to ultimate success: The first way is to be kind. The second way is to be kind. The third way is to be kind." — Fred Rogers
I've been working on a message to all of you about our theme of kindness. In these times of uncertainty, distancing, and stress it is more important than ever to remember to be kind and keep it nice daily. As I was writing, I received an email from Joe Cavanaugh, the Founder & CEO of Youth Frontiers. Wayzata Public Schools partners with Youth Frontiers for many of our student retreats from elementary through high school.
His words were exactly what I was hoping to communicate. Plus, he started with a quote by Fred Rogers. You may already know that Mr. Rogers is one of my heroes so this email certainly caught my attention. I encourage you to read Mr. Cavanaugh's message about being kind.
Warmly,
Mr. Fredrickson

Did You Know? Reporting Absences During Distance Learning Families can report absences through Skyward Family Access instead of calling the attendance line. If your child is ill, please put the absence into Skyward Family Access the day(s) they are unable to be online due to illness. We will assume that your child will be checking in with their teacher every day unless an absence is reported.
If you experience any issues with Skyward, please contact our technology department at 763-745-5100 or helpdesk@wayzataschools.org.
Reminders Emergency Contact Information It is very important that we have accurate emergency contact information for each parent/guardian. Please take a moment to verify and update your family information in Skyward Family Access.
Birthday Book Program Our popular birthday book program will be back this year. This program helps grow our library collection while formally commemorating a special day in the lives of our students.
