IMPORTANT NOTICE Emergency Childcare Available As part of Governor Walz's emergency executive order, school districts will provide childcare for healthcare and emergency personnel workers. We are suspending our current childcare program and working quickly to implement the new guidelines.
Registration is open now and required before attending the program. We have more details in our FAQs. Please contact us with any additional questions you may have.
What you should know: Dates/Times We will operate Monday-Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 6:15 p.m. Eligible Families Childcare for tier 1 healthcare and emergency workers as defined by the state of Minnesota. You can view the full list on their website. Location Childcare will be provided at Greenwood Elementary at 18005 Medina Rd, Plymouth, MN 55446. No Cost The new emergency childcare program is available at no cost to eligible families. Ages Served Childcare is available for students currently enrolled in our school district from all-day preschool participants through grade 5. Food A morning snack and lunch is available for free for children attending childcare. Distance Learning Beginning April 6, teachers and paras will be providing distance learning support for students in childcare. iPads will be available for student use. Social Distancing Children in emergency care will be in classrooms/spaces by age groups keeping groups small and activities will be circulated into a variety of classrooms/spaces.
