Be BOLD Be West! Throughout the year we have been challenging our students to be BOLD (Build Community, Own Your Learning, Lead Positively, and Develop Balance). Families can join in by promoting BOLD behaviors at home and with distance learning. We are re-sharing our BOLD Matrix that lists the expectations we strive to have our students reach throughout the school day. We are also sharing a blank matrix for you to create your own version at home. Have some fun with this and challenge your children to take the lead in teaching you what BOLD behaviors should look like. Be BOLD Be West! school wide matrix we use to teach BOLD expectations. Please use this as a reference. You do not need to go as in depth as we did. At-home blank BOLD matrix (in Google) or as a PDF. Make a digital copy in Google Docs or print it out and write on it.

Bold Ambassador Food Drive & Opportunity to Help The Bold Ambassadors' annual food drive unfortunately had to end early due to our school closure. Thank you to all who made donations last week. For those who either still hoped to contribute or are looking for ways to help our community's families in need during the COVID-19 crisis, a contribution to Interfaith Outreach could go a long way.
Videos for eBook Resources The first video shows students how to sign in to and navigate MackinVia. The second video is how students can access Hennepin County Library ebooks through the Overdrive app on their iPads and also to read free ebooks on Project Gutenberg. Also, if you or your student does not have a library card number for Hennepin County Library, they are taking phone applications from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. They will mail physical cards to people but will also give the card number over the phone so that people can start accessing online content right away. |
