A Message from Mr. Fredrickson Dear Families,
I Love to Read Month has been a lot of fun. Yesterday, we had our author visit with Hena Khan. Students were a great audience and she was a very engaging speaker. Make sure to ask your child about how she puts her books together.
Tomorrow, Friday, is our last I Love to Read Month celebration. We decided to add a "Read My Shirt Day". Please encourage your child to wear a shirt, sweatshirt, sweater, etc. with words on it tomorrow, Friday, February 28. Reading can be more than just books! Lastly, we have a family event planned for April 16 from 5:00-6:00. Our second annual Math Night is designed to share our math program with families. Come play some of the math games students experience in the classroom, learn about ideas to help your child at home, and ask questions about the Bridges curriculum. We will also have a drawing for some fun math games to giveaway! Thanks for your partnership. We are so thankful you share your children with us!
Warmly,
Mr. Fredrickson
