Career and Technical Education Fair - February 19 Parents/Guardians:
You're invited to join us for the 3rd Annual Wayzata High School Career and Technical Education (CTE) Fair!
New this year: we are opening the invitation to parents and guardians! The CTE Fair runs from 9:35 a.m. - 7:00 p.m, so parents/guardians can attend during parent-teacher conferences that same evening.
What is CTE Fair? The CTE Fair will feature representatives from various careers, trades, businesses, technical and community colleges, and specialty schools. Students, parents, and guardians will have the opportunity to interact with employers and educational institutions that teach/employ in various career fields. The fair exhibitors will offer virtual technology to simulate various career pathways so students can get hands-on experience of real jobs that are in high demand. Students can also learn about careers that offer apprenticeships and other opportunities.
Students can register for the fair by checking their email with the sign up information, by visiting the WHS Hub under "College Visits," or by stopping by the College and Career Center (CCC) in B202.
