A Message from Mr. Fredrickson Dear Families,
The end of January brought about several ways for us as a staff to partner with you as families. I'd like to thank you for these opportunities.
The first is conferences. I personally spoke to many families who were excited about the progress their child(ren) are making this year. Staff also shared that parents were engaged in conferences. Staff, too, share the excitement of continued student growth in our school. We set a building goal of having 100% of our students' families attend conferences. Although several conferences were reschedule for various reasons, it looks like we will make this goal the same way we did this past fall. Thank you so much for your partnership!
We also launched EPay as a way for families to pay online for field trips, 4th grade recorders, etc. Once EPay is set up, it is fairly easy to navigate. However, we had several glitches along the way in getting it set up. Thank you to families that reached out to help us in this endeavor. Hopefully, everything is now up and running. The EPay section below should have all the kinks worked out.
Thank you, again, for your continued support and partnership. Our students are so lucky to have such great advocates in their parents!
Warmly, Sam
Sign Up for EPay We are going to start using EPay for collecting funds for classrooms, field trips, etc. The hope is that this will cut down on the amount of time teachers put in to working on field trips and the amount of cash and checks they have to handle in their classrooms.
News from Our Specialists Here's what has been happening in gym class!
Music News We have some fun events planned for this school year that will provide our choir members experience with leadership, choral singing, community building, and teamwork. The group will meet once a week before school on Wednesdays starting February 12, and will include a performance to be attended by families, friends, and community members. The following information gives you the tentative rehearsal schedule, information about rehearsal times, and drop-off information as well as expectations for choir. I am looking forward to working with your singer and having a rewarding rest of the school year filled with music! 4th grade students will also begin learning the recorder in a few short weeks. Please see the information below on what they will learn and how you can purchase!
