Dear Class of 2020,

 

We will have two Class of 2020 Graduates speak at our Wayzata High School Class of 2020 Commencement. One speaker will be recommended by the students in your senior class, and the second speaker will be recommended by the Wayzata High School faculty.

Speeches should be 3-5 minutes long. Graduates who are interested in speaking must:

1. Enlist the help of a Wayzata High School staff member who will act as a mentor.
2. Prepare the typed speech as a Google document and share it with both Kathy Beatty, Kathy.Beatty@wayzataschools.org, and your mentor so they can approve it. Be sure to give Kathy Beatty editing permission so it can be posted in a public folder. This document should be shared no later than 3:30 p.m. on Friday, February 28.

Speeches will be available online for voting March 6-25.

 

Visit the WHS Graduation information webpage to vote. This website will not be accessible for voting until voting opens.

 

Selected speakers will be notified at the beginning of April. Speakers will also be notified of a date/time (TBD) when/where they will rehearse their speech with Principal Gengler.
