Winter MAP Testing Information
PTA Step It Up Fundraiser Thank you to all students and families who have participated in our PTA Step It Up Fundraiser. The last day to collect online donations or turn in a pledge sheet is Tuesday, November 26. Our all school Step It Up celebration will be throughout the day on December 6. We need parent volunteers to help supervise at the event. Please consider volunteering for a time slot.

Did You Know? No School November 27-29 Just a reminder, there is no school Wednesday, November 27 through Friday, November 29, due to the Thanksgiving holiday. We will see everyone back at school on Monday, December 2. Have a safe and relaxing break and we hope you get lots of time with family and friends!
Yearbooks Yearbook order forms will be handed out to students this week and are due by December 20. The cost this year is $30, and $36 for a personalized book. You can order by returning the form to the front office with payment, or directly from Jostens online. Yearbooks are not available through EPay.
Honors Choir The following students participated in the 8th Grade Honor Choir. The choir went to Wayzata High School on Thursday, November 14 and sang with singers from EMS, WMS, and WHS Concert Choir. They were directed by Jeff Dahl, and then watched performances by the WHS Concert Choir, Chamber Singers, and 9th Grade Tenor/Bass Choir. Abood, Ellie Chandramouleeswaran Aditya Haske, Elizabeth Peterson, Ethan Rigg, Teya All-State Honors Choir. These students rehearsed during the day on Saturday, November 16, and were directed by Melanie Kjellberg from Andover High School, and Nicole Thietje from New Prague High School. Winter I Intramural Activities
More information is posted on the website, the school TV monitors, activities bulletin board, as well as flyers that are available in the office. There is a one time intramural fee of $25 that covers all intramural activities (not athletics) throughout the school year. Registration forms are available in the front office.
Activity Late Bus Late activity bus transportation is available Monday-Thursday and leaves at 5:30 p.m. A list of stops is available in the front office, or on the school website. Please note the bus stop nearest to your home for these routes may not be the same stop as your student's regular route. Review the routes and discuss with your student. Bus drivers cannot stop at individual homes.
Ski and Snowboard Club Ski and Snowboard Club is offered through the City of Plymouth Parks and Recreation, and open to all Wayzata middle school students. A parent/student meeting is scheduled for December 5, 7:00 p.m. at the Plymouth Creek Center.
PTA News Next PTA Meeting –January 14 The next PTA meeting is Tuesday, January 14, 11:30 a.m. Please consider joining and contributing to the PTA. This is a great way to be updated on what is happening at CMS. Membership does not commit you to volunteering but we are always in need of help!
