Did You Know?
Open House will take place on Wednesday, August 29 from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Families are invited to see old friends, meet new teachers, and tour the building. Dinner sponsored by the PTA will be served from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. The building will be closed until 5:30 p.m. to allow staff to join the community for dinner.
Classroom Placements will be posted to Skyward Family Access on Monday, August 27 at 4:00 p.m. There will be no paper mailing of class placements this year. Resources are available for help logging in to Family Access.
Bus Route Postcards will be mailed to families the week of August 27. Transportation information can also be found on the Transportation Portal. Bus Stop Change Requests and Daycare Transportation Request forms can be found on the district website.
Girls on the Run registration in now open for girls in grades 3-5. Girls on the Run is an after-school program that uses the power of running to prepare 3rd-5th grade girls for a lifetime of self-respect and healthy living. Over the course of the 10-week, 20-lesson season, girls learn life-changing lessons about healthy friendships, teamwork, decision-making, self-respect and more, all while preparing to run a 5k. It is very important that we have accurate emergency contact information for each parent/guardian. Please take a moment to verify and update your family information in Skyward Family Access.
Student Directory Information
Each year the Birchview PTA provides families with a student directory. In order for your student to be included in the directory you must OPT-IN. The deadline to opt-in is Friday, September 21.
Birthday Book Program
Our popular birthday book program will be back this year. This program helps grow our library collection while formally commemorating a special day in the lives of our students.
