Message from Mr. Fredrickson It has been an exciting past few weeks at Birchview. Between starting the school year, preparing for the Bobcat Fun Run, running the Fun Run and now getting ready for conferences, we have had no shortage of opportunities to build community and set the year up for success.
Just a reminder that conferences start this week. If you have not had the opportunity to sign up for a time to meet with your child's teacher, please do so soon. The window closes on Monday at 4:00 p.m. You can sign up for a conference using Skyward Family Access. Conferences are 20 minutes long on:
Each child will be listed separately in Skyward Family Access, so please schedule for all applicable children. The Skyward Family Access webpage has resources and video tutorials.
Warmly,
Things are busy in Technology! We have been off to a busy start in Technology! Since the beginning of the year we have established our routines, gotten to know one another, responded to attention getters, worked on our perseverance and how to ask for help when we need it, as well as been able to log in (with the exception of our kindergartners, who will log in later this fall).
Supporting Our Community Community Family Fun Night – Thursday, October 3, 6:00-8:00 p.m. Join us tonight at Birchview for a free event to celebrate the success of our Bobcat Fun Run! Enjoy bounce houses, a DJ, and more!
Students who earned a VIP pass by fundraising $100 or more may arrive between 6:00-6:45 p.m. for early access to all of the activities. Doors open to our entire Birchview community at 6:45 p.m. Pizza will be available for $1 per slice.
