Note from Principal Keffeler Hello Meadow Ridge Families,
Once again, a huge thank you to all who donated toward our $64,000 fundraising total. I am looking forward to pink hair tomorrow and more fun in the future – even the dunk tank!
Parent teacher conferences begin next week. Please be sure to sign up. Teachers will be focused on setting academic and behavior goals for the year. I'll be attending my daughter's conferences at WHS tonight, and I'll ask them the same questions I've asked her teachers since Kindergarten: Is she kind to others? Does she follow your directions? What do her work habits look like? I vividly remember an 8th grade conference where she wasn't doing as well as she could be doing in one class. It was a call to action for both our daughter and for us as parents to ensure that she was responsible for her work. Children ebb and flow in their development as students and humans, and teachers are a great source of information. Communication can happen at any time, so don't ever hesitate to reach out to teachers and ask how your child is doing. It is truly a team effort.
Best, Karen
