Emergency Text Message Notifications for Students Wayzata Public Schools offers emergency text message notification to communicate directly to high school students in the event of an emergency. Parents/guardians already receive information via email, phone calls, text message and social media. We want to also be able to provide detailed information to students, such as where to move to during an emergency, where buses will be picking up students, or other directions for the students on campus.
Because these messages will be tailored to students, we ask that students enter their cell phone number, not a parent or guardian's cell phone number.
To sign-up for the notifications, please follow these steps (or watch this video):
To receive future SMS messages from Wayzata High School and Wayzata Public Schools, please text "Yes" to 67587. Message and data rates may apply and are the responsibility of the parent or student. If you have questions, please contact Kristin Tollison, director of administrative services, at Kristin.Tollison@wayzataschools.org. |
