Join Us at Back-To-Business: August 9 and 13

Dear Parents and Students:

On behalf of all of the staff at Wayzata High School, I welcome you to our school community and the 2018-2019 school year. We hope you will feel embraced, inspired and encouraged as you continue your academic journey with us. Together, we will achieve a common goal - to equip each and every student with the skills and confidence they will need to be happy, healthy and successful, even long after graduation. Remember, this is your high school and we're here for you. Don't be shy about asking questions, sharing ideas and becoming engaged in our school community. We're eager to get to know you!

Please be sure to attend one of our upcoming Back-To-Business days to accomplish some essential tasks in your preparation for the upcoming school year. Back-To-Business is a "drop-in" style event located in Culinary Express; we hope you will stop by anytime during the following dates/times:

Thursday, August 9, 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Monday, August 13, 12:00-8:00 p.m.

We encourage you to review our "Back-To-Business Guide" prior to arriving.

2018-2019 Student Course Schedules

Student course schedules will be viewable in Skyward by 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 9. Please keep in mind that some minor changes may still occur between now and August 29.

Schedules will appear as 8-periods, but we still operate on a 4-block day. See the below sample schedule for clarification:

Staffing allocations are based on student registration requests. Schedule changes must be requested prior to the term starting. Schedule changes will only be made if space is available.

Schedule changes will not be made for the following reasons:

  • To request a specific teacher / to switch sections of the same course to get a different teacher.
  • To request a specific block / to switch sections of the same course to change term / block or rearrange schedule to have a different lunch period.
  • To have a class with a friend.
  • To leave to attend a non-school sanctioned occupational activity.

Please visit our Registration Webpage for more information.
