We are super excited to see everyone at Open House on Thursday, August 30 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. As you're probably aware, construction is still underway at Greenwood and everything is on schedule. We will still be prepping some classrooms the week of Open House, so thanks in advance for overlooking any construction remnants prior to the first day of school.

The past couple years we've shared a few videos in advance of Open House so you and your family have the opportunity to learn more about our incredible teachers, grade-level routines, and curriculum prior to meeting in person at Open House. The videos (including some newly updated content) are available on our back-to-school resources page. Videos can be viewed anytime this Summer at the IOCP, Plymouth Library, or at the tables set-up during Open House.

The back-to-school resources page is your one-stop shop for all resources including the Open House videos, a Welcome Back letter with class placement information, and important paperwork. I'd also like to draw your attention to our updated handbook, and I'll share a couple highlights below:

If you plan to drive your child to school, our drop-off begins at 7:30 a.m. and students are expected to be in their classrooms by 7:45 a.m. each day. (The school day is 7:45 a.m. - 2:25 p.m.)
If your child chooses to celebrate a birthday at school, please ensure that any "treats" are non-food items such as pencils, stickers, bookmarks, or a commemorative book donated to the library.
Bullying, by an individual or group of students, is expressly prohibited on school premises, on school district property, at school functions or activities, and on school transportation. The complete policy can be found on the district website.
If your child will be absent or tardy, please be sure to inform the Health Office by calling 763-745-5515.

Did You Know?

All parents and students are invited to attend the Greenwood Open House on Thursday, August 30. Classrooms and PTA Booths will be open from 4:00-6:00 p.m.

Classroom Placements will be available on Skyward Family Access and Class Lists will be posted at Greenwood's front doors on Monday, August 27 by 4:30 p.m.

Lunch PINs (Personal Identification Numbers), meal prices, and lunch account payment information, and the 2018-19 Free and Reduced-Price Meal Application are available on the Culinary Express webpage. Additional information such as menus, food ingredients, and nutrition information can be found on Nutrislice.

Bus Route Postcards will be mailed to families during the week of August 27.

If you ordered a School Supply Kit through the 1st Day School Supplies program offered to Greenwood families in Spring 2018, the kit will be placed in your student's classroom for the Open House event.
