Shout Outs 2018-2019 Ambassador Award Congratulations to Lauren Hlavacek who received the Ambassador Award and was recognized for 110 hours of service to others with special dedication to delivering impact toward UN Global Goal: 17 - Partnerships For the Goals! This award is given by the United Nations Association of the USA.
Minnesota All State Math Team Selections Congratulations to the following students who have been selected for a guaranteed spot on the Minnesota All State Math Team: George Cai, Stephen Chen, Matthew Qu, Ayush Ram and Kevin Yang! By achieving this high honor, these students are entitled to travel to the American Regions Mathematics League (ARML) Competition at the University of Iowa on May 31 - June 1 to compete against other state teams across the nation.

Skyward Student Information Please log into Skyward to ensure your student's full name is spelled correctly. The name in Skyward is your student's legal name (name on birth certificate) and is used for transcripts, diploma and all documents supplied by WHS. Contact the Welcome Center at 763-745-5240 if your student's legal name is not spelled correctly. You will need to supply the Welcome Center with a passport or birth certificate to change the legal name.
Student Withdrawals Moving? Changing schools? Please contact Nancy Vogt, High School Registrar, at 763-745-6731. If your student is leaving before the 2018-2019 school year is over or not returning for the 2019-2020 school year, please have your student stop by the Administrative Office on the 2nd floor and fill out a withdrawal form.

Summer Eats Minnesota School meals don't have to stop just because its summer. Summer Eats Minnesota serves free healthy and delicious meals during the summer. It's open to children up to age 18. Best of all, no registration required. Kids just show up and eat!

Senior Yearbook Distribution - May 29 Seniors are invited to the senior signing party on Wednesday, May 29, 2019. The event is from 4:00 - 6:15 p.m. in Gyms 5/6. We will have treats, music and a photo book for you to capture the last memories of your senior year.

Senior Party Information Junior parents are needed at Mariucci on May 31 to help with set-up and to check in graduates as they board the buses to the party. Believe it or not your students will soon be the Seniors at the high school! We need one or two parents to step up to chair the Senior Class Party on graduation night next year. This is a great time to express an interest as you have the opportunity to go see this year's party and ask any questions you have. Senior Party chairs receive a lot of information from past events and work with a team of committee chairs. There are also opportunities to volunteer at this year's party. Volunteer Needs Foreign Exchange Student Hosting Opportunities The World Languages and Cultures department is happy to announce that for the first time we are hosting 10 students from Cali Colombia October 6 - 13. Summer Youth Volunteer Opportunities Summer is a great time for students to volunteer and the need for student volunteers in the community is high. Students are encouraged to check out the 2019 Summer Youth Volunteer Opportunities brochure for a variety of summer volunteer opportunities. If interested in an opportunity students should contact the site listed as soon as possible to reserve his/her spot as a summer volunteer.
