Track & Field Day Volunteers Needed Volunteers needed to help lead and assist stations and events for Track & Field Day, Friday, May 31 (Monday, June 3 if it's raining)! If you're able to help, please sign-up below under "Volunteer Needs".
Did You Know? Order School Supply Kits Online through June 15 Families of all 2019-2020 students can purchase school supply kits from the Schoolkidz website using code 87942. Kits will be mailed directly to your home in August. If you choose, you may purchase next year's supplies on your own. Scholarships for supply kits are available. Please contact Mary McKasy at 763-745-5410 if a scholarship is needed. All students who will be attending WMS next year were provided information about middle school supplies and kits. These kits will be available for purchase online through June 30.
Reminders May Kindness Project – May 23 and 24 Calling all caring kids! First through fifth grade students will have the opportunity to participate in an outdoor Kindness Club project during one of their regular recess times. We will be assembling and decorating snack bags for children at The Family Partnership. Together, students will be filling a need for other kids in our wider community and will leave feeling great they have taken time to do something kind for someone else.
Join us May 30 for Ice Cream Social! Join us for fun at this all-school event for families May 30, 5:00-6:30 p.m.! Ice cream treats and cookies will be available in the commons. We welcome all new incoming kindergarten families and families new to Gleason Lake, in addition to our current families. At this event, we will have a special kindergarteners-only bouncy house on the kindergarten playground. Incoming kindergarten families will also have a scavenger hunt for the whole family to enjoy finding certain rooms all around the school. We look forward to seeing you there!
