Notes from the Naturalist Our naturalist, Marleane, has been busy with all of our Kimberly Lane classes noticing that spring has finally arrived! The classes saw, heard and counted over 20 different species of birds, some of which migrated from the rain forest in Brazil. Read all about the amazing things they saw learned about over the past week!
Did You Know? Order 2019-2020 School Supplies This helps you save time and money when back-to-school shopping. Parents that use EPI school supply packs save up to 40% compared to the same supplies from a national retailer. The order deadline is June 16. All orders are submitted online using our school code KIM017. Supply packs will be shipped directly to your home August 4-10. Shipping costs are $7 for the first pack and $1.50 each additional pack. Even with the shipping costs, it is still a significant savings over retail shopping. For questions, contact Kari Abood at kari_abood@hotmail.com
Staff Appreciation Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week was May 6-10. We had a wonderful week of Red Carpet treatment for Kimberly Lane's amazing staff. And we wanted to say thank you to everyone who came together this week to help us show our gratitude for all that they do for our children.
Families Attending Meadow Ridge Next Year Families who will be attending Meadow Ridge next year are invited to join us for our last PTO meeting of the year, Tuesday May 14, 9:00 a.m. We will be electing the executive board and approving the budget for the 2019-2020 school year. A number of chair positions are still available, include Turkey Bingo, Carnival, spirit-wear, STEM Day, school directory, and more. Please email Becky Petersen at beckypetersen@gmail.com with questions or interest.
Reminders Lost and Found Our lost and found is already bursting with shoes and clothing even though we just emptied it out! Please label your child's belongings and remind them to check for missing items.
