From the Desk of Dr. G The Great Greenwood Campout - Author Information Mark your calendars! We're planning an epic campout in the Greenwood gym featuring author Lehman Riley on Thursday, May 30, 3:30-5:00 p.m. In addition to a book-signing by the author, we're also planning cool stations like Build-Your-Own Trail Mix, Create-a-Bookmark, teacher read-alouds, and a free book giveaway for all students. Learn more about our author and his important message about bullying and mental health. To pre-order books from Lehman Riley please use this order form. Pre-orders are due May 22 and checks can be made payable to Lehman Riley/Papa Lemon Books. In Appreciation (Video Tribute) This week, Greenwood celebrated National Teacher Appreciation Week. Our PTA organized a staff appreciation luncheon that was incredibly thoughtful and many students (and their families) shared extremely encouraging words with teachers. We feel very fortunate to be in a school district where education and learning are deeply valued. We wanted to share a video our students helped create sharing some of the things they value in their teachers. :)
Have a wonderful weekend, Brad Gustafson, Principal
