Prior to the start of the school year, we are asking our kindergarten students to participate in an academic skills assessment which gives us the time to meet with each child individually and to better know students as they begin kindergarten.
The assessments will be conducted at Oakwood Elementary School:
- Wednesday, August 1, 7:00-11:00 a.m.
- Thursday, August 2, 7:00-11:00 a.m.
- Friday, August 3, 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
If your child attends Home Base at Gleason Lake, one of our teachers will be there on Wednesday, August 1 to conduct assessments. There is no need for you to sign up, unless your child will not be at Home Base on August 1. Home Base staff will work with the teacher to bring the child to the assessment.
