Principal's Note Over the next several weeks, students in grades 3-5 will be completing the 2018-2019 Minnesota Comprehensive Assessments (MCAs). At the elementary level, students will take a Reading and a Math MCA. The Reading MCA test will be given April 22, 23 and 25. The Math MCA test will be given on April 29 and 30. The Minnesota Department of Education will be providing final individual student MCA scores to districts at the end of June. Did You Know? Pennies for Patients Fundraiser Gleason Lake staff and students raised $8,523.96 for Pennies for Patients this year. That's amazing! Thank you everyone for your dedication to this worthy cause.We have nine bronze pennant winning classes that raised more than $100; four silver pennant winning classes that raised more than $200; and 13 gold pennant winning classes that raised over $300. Pennants have been ordered and will be delivered soon! Reminders Save the Date for 4th grade Vocal Concert on April 18 Our fourth graders will share their vocal and recorder playing talents at a concert on April 18 at 6:30 p.m. It will be in the gym. We invite all families and friends of our fourth graders to attend.
