Attention Young Scientists! The 17th Annual Oakwood Elementary Science Fair will be held on Thursday, May 2. All 1st-5th grade students are welcome and encouraged to participate. Reminders Spirit Week Student Council's Spirit Week wraps up tomorrow. It has been so fun to see all of the school spirit our Oakwood students and staff have!
Student Council Food Drive The last day for the Food Drive is tomorrow, Friday, March 22. Students should bring in cooking or baking items. All items will be donated to Interfaith Outreach. Thank you for your support!
Lost and Found Oakwood's lost and found items will be donated right before Spring Break, at the end of the school day on Wednesday, March 27. Items with names on them will be returned to their owners!
Have You Ordered Your Yearbook? Order at ybpay.lifetouch.com today (school code: 1263419). Order forms are also available in the school office. Yearbooks start at $15.00. The deadline to purchase is Wednesday, March 27. Yearbooks will be delivered to students during the last week of school. Please consider making a donation to Oakwood's Yearbook Fund with your payment. It will help ensure that all students have the opportunity to receive a yearbook. Thank you for your generosity.
Central Middle School - Orientation for Next Year 6th Graders Fifth grade parents, mark your calendars for Central Middle School's 6th Grade Orientation. It will be held in Central's gym on Tuesday, March 26, from 6:30-8:00 p.m. This event is for students and parents. You can meet the teachers and principals. This may help ease some of your child's anxiety about transitioning to middle school.them will be returned to their owners!

Evereve Shopping Event The fundraiser at Evereve is tonight, 6:00-9:00 p.m.! Get out, enjoy the warm weather and get ready for spring with some new clothes. 15% of the sales will go to the PTA. The last hour will be open exclusively for those supporting Oakwood.
From the Media Center Thank you to all of the volunteers and all of the families who made the Scholastic Book Fair possible. We were able to use the Scholastic Dollars to purchase many new non-fiction library-bound books, including a new set of state books, many new country books, and several sets of high-interest topics such as pets, cars and sports. We also purchased a book repair machine which should keep our collection looking good for years to come!

Box Tops for Education Oakwood participates in Box Tops for Education. Save your Box Tops and send them to school with your student to put into the bucket in the office.
