Application Guide

Step 1: Visit the Wayzata Public Schools Website and select "Careers."

Step 2: Select "Job Postings."

Step 3: Search for open vacancies: You can search by category or location on the left side of the screen.

Step 4: To apply for a position, select "log in" under the category that best fits your role (external or internal).
*Note: You can only apply as an internal candidate if you are currently part of Wayzata Public Schools bargaining unity and you are applying within the same bargaining unit. 

Step 5: Logging in:

  • You will be prompted to login.
  • If you have previously applied to a position, enter your login information that you used before.
  • If you forgot your password, select the "forgot password" button to retrieve your credentials.
  • If you have never applied to the Wayzata Public School District, you will want to select "Start" on the right hand side of the screen.

Step 6: Follow the prompts to enter your personal information, select employment status and complete your address information. 
 *Note: You can only apply as an internal candidate if you are currently part of Wayzata Public Schools bargaining unity and you are applying within the same bargaining unit. 

Step 7: Select the vacancies you wish to apply for, you can choose to select more than one role to apply for at the same time.

Step 8: Complete all the steps on the left side of the page
*Note: The steps required vary depending on the position(s) you are applying for. Not all information is required. Those indicated with a red asterisk are required elements to submit the application; all others are optional. 

Step 9: After completing all elements, submit your application. At any point you can select "Save as draft" and everything will be saved for you to return to next time you login.
