Tennis, Boys

Description of sport: Competitive boys tennis; singles and doubles; Varsity, JV, Freshman and C teams.

Where to go for more information: Activities Office.

Length of season: Practice begins March 23, 2020.

Practice and/or meeting times: Monday through Friday times to be determined.

Practice and/or meeting site: Wayzata High School, Parker's Lake and Central Middle School.

Competitions: Two or three matches per week plus tournaments.

Eligibility requirements: Meet MSHSL and Wayzata Public Schools Eligibility Requirements. Must be fully registered with the Activities Office. Eligible sports qualifying physical, eligibility form and fee payment must be on file in the Activities Office before participation.

Average number of members: 70.

Costs and/or needed equipment: Participation fee plus racket and shoes.

Awards criteria and type of awards: Lettering requirements determined by head coach.

Student leadership: Captains are selected by the coaches.

C-Team (7th & 8th Grade)

If you are registering your 7th or 8th grader to tryout for the High School C Team - DO NOT REGISTER THROUGH THE MIDDLE SCHOOL. You must register through the high school. If your student does not make the High School C-Team, then you will need to register for the middle school program.

If you register for both programs, you will be charged a $10 processing fee for whichever fee is refunded.
