Description of sport: Competitive boys tennis; singles and doubles; 4 teams: varsity, JV, freshman, and C-team.
Season commitment: Practice begins March 24, 2025 and ends late May to early June. Practice and meets five to six days per week. Two matches per week.
Eligibility requirements: Students in grades 9-12 who meet MSHSL and Wayzata School District Eligibility Requirements.
Tryouts/Cuts: Yes
Costs and/or needed equipment: Participation fee plus racket and shoes.
Additional: The C-team is made up of 7th and 8th graders. 7th and 8th graders cannot tryout for upper level teams without permission. If they do not make the C-team, then they can register for middle school tennis.
Match Schedules
Student-athletes must be fully registered before they can practice and/or tryout.

2024-25 Informational Meeting
An informational meeting for parents and athletes for all those who are interested in playing boys tennis this spring will occur on March 4th at 6:30 PM in the 2nd Auditorium. This includes varsity, Jv, 9th grade and C team.
C-Team (7th & 8th Grade) Registration Information
If you are registering your 7th or 8th grader to tryout for the High School C Team - DO NOT REGISTER THROUGH THE MIDDLE SCHOOL. You must register through the high school. If your student does not make the High School C-Team, then you will need to register for the middle school program.
If you register for both programs, you will be charged a $10 processing fee for whichever fee is refunded.
