Baseball

Description of sport: Competitive baseball consisting of 5 teams: varsity, JV, sophomore, and two ninth grade teams.

Season commitment: Freshmen tryouts begin March 10, 2025. 10th-Varsity tryout the week of March 17. Season ends late-May to June. Games and practices are held five to six days per week with some Saturday games.

Eligibility requirements: Students in grades 9-12 who meet the MSHSL and Wayzata Public Schools Eligibility Requirements.

Tryouts/Cuts: Yes

Costs and/or needed equipment: Participation fee, gloves, shoes, belts, and socks.

All interested players should have access to the Baseball Page in Canvas for information and communication.  Players should email Coach DeWitt at robert.dewitt@wayzataschools.org to be added to the Canvas page.

Student-athletes must be fully registered before they can practice and/or tryout.
