Description of sport: Competitive girls soccer consisting of varsity, JV, sophomore and two 9th grade teams (A and B).

Where to go for more information: Activities Office.

Length of season: Practice begins August 12, 2019.

Practice times: Weather permitting. Two-a-days August 12-17 at WHS, times TBD. During the remainder of the season, the schedule will be from 4-6 p.m.

Practice site: Wayzata High School

Competitions: Two or three games are held each week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

Eligibility requirements: Meet MSHSL and Wayzata Public Schools Eligibility Requirements. Must be fully registered with the Activities Office. Eligible sports qualifying physical, eligibility form, and fee payment must be on file in the Activities Office before participation.

Average number of members: Varsity: 18, Jv: 18-22, Sophomores: 18-22, Freshman: 18-22 per team.

Costs and/or needed equipment: Participation fee and soccer shoes.

Awards criteria & type of awards: Lettering requirements determined by head coach.

Student leadership: Two or three captains.
