Description of sport: Competitive boys soccer consisting of varsity, JV, sophomore and a 9th grade team.

Where to go for more information: Activities Office.

Length of season: Practice begins August 12, 2019.

Practice times: Two practice sessions will be held each day during the preseason. Once school begins, practice will be after school.

Practice site: Wayzata High School.

Competitions: Two or three games are held each week on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

Eligibility requirements: Meet MSHSL and Wayzata Public Schools Eligibility Requirements, maintain academic eligibility, attend practice regularly and abide by team rules. Must be fully registered with the Activities Office. Eligible sports qualifying physical, eligibility form and fee payment must be on file in the Activities Office before participation.

Average number of members: Varsity: 16-22, JV: 18-22, sophomore: 18-22, freshman team: 18-22

Costs and/or needed equipment: Participation fee, soccer shoes, shin guards and soccer ball.

Awards criteria & type of awards: Lettering requirements determined by head coach.

Student leadership: Two or three captains.
