German Club

Description of activity: Meetings include new vocabulary and a German game or learning activity. Monthly activities during or outside of club time are also planned. i.e. German food, Oktoberfest, German American Institute breakfast, Volunteering, Minnesota Zoo, German Day, Exchange Activities, World Language Clubs soccer game.

Length of season: One hour twice a month and activities.

Meeting times: After school and/or before school as planned by next year’s group.

Meeting site: A416.

Eligibility requirements: You don't have to be in German class, just interested in German language and culture. Students in grades 9-12 who meet the Wayzata Public Schools Extra-Curricular Eligibility Requirements.

Costs and/or needed equipment: Participation fee is $70 ($55/$15) to cover costs for WHS Activities Office and club supplies.

Student leadership: President, Vice President, PR and Communications Officer, Scribe, International Ambassadors.
