Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS)
We use data to determine what support each student needs at any given time. This includes academic, behavioral and social-emotional support.
Our mission
- Keep improving our system.
- Support teachers in their work.
- Build on the strengths of students and their families.
- Listen and respond to their needs.
Minnesota's framework

Minnesota Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MnMTSS) is a statewide framework to help schools improve over time.
- It supports each student's social, emotional, behavioral and academic success.
- It uses an anti-bias, equity-focused approach that helps schools review their practices.
- It helps ensure a fair distribution of resources and opportunity.
Individual school districts use MnMTSS to guide the framework for their students.
