High School Reading Support
We give high school students targeted help and offer structured programs. We ensure every student builds a solid reading foundation.
Approach
A licensed reading teacher:
- Teaches, assesses and supports students
- Coordinates with grade-level team
- Serves a resource to students, families and staff
READ 180
We use READ 180 , a comprehensive reading intervention program, to help students improve their reading skills. It provides a mix of tools.
- A computer program that adjusts to each student's reading level and monitors progress
- Workbooks that focus on improving reading comprehension
- Paperback books for students to read on their own
- Audiobooks to demonstrate the sound of reading aloud
