High School Reading Support

We give high school students targeted help and offer structured programs. We ensure every student builds a solid reading foundation.

Approach

A licensed reading teacher:

• Teaches, assesses and supports students
• Coordinates with grade-level team
• Serves a resource to students, families and staff

READ 180

We use READ 180 , a comprehensive reading intervention program, to help students improve their reading skills. It provides a mix of tools.

• A computer program that adjusts to each student's reading level and monitors progress
• Workbooks that focus on improving reading comprehension
• Paperback books for students to read on their own
• Audiobooks to demonstrate the sound of reading aloud
