Grade 4-5 Seminar Enrichment
Seminars support critical-thinking, problem-solving, and social-emotional growth.
How it works
Each fall, we administer the Cognitive Abilities Test (CogAT) to:
- All students in grade 4
- New students in grade 5
Students qualify for enrichment seminar placement if they receive a:
- Composite score of 130 or higher, or
- An individual Strand score (Verbal, Quantitative, or Nonverbal) of 135 or higher.
They continue to take part in seminars through the end of elementary school.
