Cognitive Abilities Test
The Cognitive Abilities Test (CogAT) measures a student's reasoning abilities.
Overview
The CogAT measures a student's reasoning abilities in three domains.
- Verbal
- Non-verbal
- Quantitative
It is one of the tests used to identify students who qualify for Enrichment services.
How it works
- We give it to all students in grade 4.
- Students take this test online, using iPads, desktops or laptops.
- It is an untimed test that is administered across multiple days and takes a total of 3 hours.
Test results
Scores are shared in the assessments section of Skyward Family Access.
