AP Subject Tests

Advanced Placement subject tests allow students to potentially earn college credits while still in high school. 

Overview

Advance Placement (AP) tests are part of the AP program

• Allows students to build college skills and earn college credits while in high school.
• Typically taken by students who are taking AP courses. 

How it works

• Offered to students in grades 9-12 in May
• Tests are taken online, using an iPad or hybrid using an iPad and paper depending on the subject 
• Each subject is  a timed test that typically takes 2-3.5 hours
• Schedule determined by the College Board

Scores are shared in the assessments section of Skyward Family Access.
