American Indian Education
We support the academic and cultural growth of our indigenous students.

Our district supports the work of the Minnesota Office of American Indian Education by supporting the indigenous students in our district.
We offer:
- Monthly school day cultural learning experiences for students in grades 6-12.
- An every-other-month cultural dinner and gathering for families and students.
- Annual participation events for all K-12 students, including:
- Our community drum and dance celebration, and
- Field trips to participate in cultural learning and activities.
The Wayzata Indigenous Advisory Committee (WIAC) guides our work.
